Mountain range after mountain range coalesce with blue skies in the Tux valley. They give the word freedom a new face. Anyone who has ever stood at the top of the Hintertux Glacier, at 3,250 meters, and let their gaze wander over the Tux and Zillertal mountains knows the meaning of alpine beauty.

The ski bus only takes 1 minute from the Hintertux village centre, where the modern, spacious apartment in the Nennerhof is located, to the station at the bottom of the Hintertux Glacier lift. The bus stop is 50 meters from the apartment building. The return is even faster: The slope from the glacier ski area leads directly to the front door of the Nennerhof so you can virtually swing off in front of the ski cellar.

Austria’s only year-round ski area offers winter-sports enthusiasts perfectly groomed runs with guaranteed snow at 3,250 meters above sea level as well as fantastic winter activity and entertainment options off the slopes. In spring and autumn in particular, you can enjoy a skiing holiday here that you will find hardly anywhere else at this time of year.

Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000

Winter ski areas in the Tuxertal

From the beginning of December to the middle of April, a ski bus takes you from Nennerhof to the winter ski areas of Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000. With just one ski pass, you can reach the ski areas of Eggalm, Rastkogel, Finkenberger and Mayerhofner cable cars with Penken/Ahorn.

Endless fun on the slopes with approx. 200 kilometres of slopes, 66 state-of-the-art lifts and cable cars, as well as great deep snow alternatives. There is plenty of variety in the children’s areas and snow parks. 30 huts and restaurants, from rustic to modern, offer après-ski and hut fun.

‘Go from the Frozen Wall, which is over 3,000 meters above sea level down to the Tuxerjoch. Enjoy the ‘Schwarze Pfanne’ slope that runs, with rapid valley swings, to directly in front of Nennerhof. If you want to get to know it, take the glacier tour: With 60 kilometres of slopes and over 15,000 meters of altitude difference, you push your thighs to the limit.’
